Great for hiking

I purchased this UPF 50 wide-brim hat specifically for our hikes. I wanted a hat that offered good shade while allowing me to keep my hair in a ponytail. Overall, it's a solid hat that blocks the sun and stays on very well while moving on the trail. The only drawback is that the ponytail hole is placed a little too low for my preference. Still, it does exactly what it promises and offers great sun protection.

Great hat. Vents help to keep the head cool. Pony tail fits comfortably through opening provided. Chin strap is easy to use and comfortable. I have even put a few ice cubes onto of my head on a severely hot day...greater than 90F and had no issues with water dripping down. Very effective at keeping sweat from dripping into eyes.
