Sucks long hair right into the canister,
I purchased the Shark Stratos model number IZ840H at the end of January, 2026. I am very happy with it and it does what it exactly says: It magically pulls long hair up from the carpet and sends it up to the upper canister without leaving any hair on the double rollers at the bottom. I am truly amazed at how well it does. I highly recommend. As a side note the only accessory it comes with is a small crevice tool, which is fine for small areas, but I needed a tool with a brush for dusting with about a 4" length. It's very tough to find accessories to fit this model. After several hours of searching all the usual places, including shark ninja, I found an eBay listing for: "Shark Anti-Allergen Dust Brush And Crevice Tool Vacuum Attachment IZ400 IZ500". All the adaptors looked like my original hook up on the crevice tool, so I took a chance and ordered two wants for $29.95 which included free shipping. I am so happy to have had the luck to find what I wanted on eBay. I love that this Shark Statos, model IZ840H is cordless and the suction is fantastic and absolutely no problems with the battery. If you need a vacuum that doesn't tangle up the rollers with hair, this is the one to buy. Many other vacuums out there say "anti-tangle" but many of them do not live up to their advertising. I returned an off brand that cost half of the one I purchased from Walmart, after using it for only one minute -- and what do you know. Lots of hair wrapped around the rollers. In this case you get what you pay for. Don't forget to look for accessories IZ400 and 500 (they are hard to find) just make sure you look at the attachment components to make sure the seller is offering what you want.

This cordless vacuum is so easy to use and store, my house is much cleaner now! I can do a quick vacuum in just minutes, so end up vacuuming much more often. Spot clean-ups are a cinch. I loved it so much I bought a second one to have one by-the-ready on each floor of the house.

My husband and I just purchased this at our local Walmart after I did extensive hunting for THE nearly perfect vacuum. I looked at about a hundred different ones, looked at the star rating, read all reviews. I wanted a vacuum that has a brush roll cleaner that cleaned it for ME. I have long blond hair down to my voluptuous booty and my carpet looks like it came from Chewbacca’s house and his favorite is a chia pet! This is what my carpet looked like, and when the sun shined I could see all the fine blond hairs and they looked like golden spider webs strewn across carpeted fields of glory! NOTHING could get this hair out….UNTIL….drum roll please! SHARK STRATOS!!! Holy macaroni is this thing phenomenal! I told my husband to buy me another to keep on hand for when or if this one bites the dust, literally! So sorry about my nasty photo of the gunk this beautiful machine sucked up, but I gotta tell you I now have nap back in my carpet! I must also say we were looking at the almost 800 dollar Dyson but since I got a new pew pew at the same cost I had to cut back on spending. SOOOO I searched high and low, crossed valleys and streams, twisted ankles and had bloodshot eyes and I settled on this one. Walmart has a sale on this model and we drove and bought it. My review is within a couple hours of buying it. I had doubts on it before trying it because let’s face it, nothing beats a Dyson, but I’m here to tell you THIS SHARK vacuum beat my Dyson V7 hands down!!! I even had a Kirby, Kirby is a wonderful vac, but try lugging that beast around, no thank you! I say this works sucking up crap you didn’t even know was in the carpet, like aunt Edna’s Mickey Motto pearl earrings (which I’ll dig out and hock later)! Plus microorganisms that I’m sure caused my strep, plus bronchitis and herpygohnnasyphilaids I’m sure the neighbors brung in off their clothes! PLEASE go buy this, you will sing praises of glory to me, well to God!!! Seriously this is a must have vacuum!!! Oh and it folds down for easy storage, how cool is that! Shark, you have one amazing vacuum!! THANK YOU!!!
