Great Value Pinto Beans, No Salt Added, 15.5 oz

So happy with these salt free beans! So hard to find salt free. Love that 9 out of 10 times when I open a can- the beans are also firm and whole not broken into pieces like other canned beans. I have a VERY strict daily sodium intake of 1200mg. So when items like these normally have 450mg up for 1/2 cup- before even adding flavor or seasonings which also typically add much sodium- it easily can wipe out half my daily intake for a small amount of beans. Even low sodium ones are typically only like 50mg less- not enough to help. So I love that these start at zero and I can then add more flavorful seasonings!! Also the only other way to get zero salt is to make beans out of dried- too much work for me. So if I'm in the mood I can open 1 can and not have a lot. Great value brand is awesome! Can't beat the price either. Only thing that could make it better is if they offered organic no salt.

good taste with no salt. good price as well.
