STOVETOP INSTRUCTIONS: Empty contents into saucepan. Simmer over low-medium heat for 6 minutes or until desired temperature, stirring frequently. MICROWAVE INSTRUCTIONS: Empty contents into microwave-safe dish, cover loosely. Microwave on high power 3 minutes, stirring halfway through. Stir before serving. All microwave ovens vary; times are approximate. CAUTION: Product and container will be hot. Use potholders and handle carefully to avoid burns. *Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.

We buy these beans all the time, and we like them a lot. They are in liquid, that we drain out, but it is never discoloredor solid (this happens when beans sit around too long.) they taste good and are not soggy. Soft enough to eat cold or mash into a recipe, but not dead if you get what I am saying. They are salted but not seasoned, which we like. Taste just as good as brand name to us. Beans are a staple for us because they are so good for you and make a great side with rice or for making chili. Good buy!
