Works like I hoped it would!
It does what I hoped it would do. I usually have one or two sneezing fits every day, but in the family room where I've placed it I rarely have those anymore. The air in the room does smell fresher, and it seems to me that the Levoit get most of what is left over from the HVAC filter protecting that system.

This purifier WORKS!!!
This air purifier helped me to keep my 11 week old mini poodle. I have never had an allergic reaction to dogs, but for some reason I woke up with a swollen eye the morning after I got her. I just about cried and knew I was NOT going to give her back. I researched online for what I can do if I'm allergic to my pet, an AI recommended this air purifier. I purchased one in the issue with my eye, went away; therefore, I purchased a second one and put it in my master bedroom. So now I have one in the living room area where she is kept and one in the master bedroom. I have no issues at all with my eye. This air purifier works!! It picked up an Aerosol spray that I used in the living room; the dial turned red, the purifier ramped up to clean the air. Then the dial turned blue. Thank you Levoit!!

Definitely get this if you have dogs or cats! I have multiple dogs and sometimes it can get stinky! Whenever it does I put it on the highest setting and by 30 minutes the smell is completely gone! I highly recommend this air purifier for pet owners! The sound does not bother me at all I find it very relaxing just like a window air conditioner! But it isn't always that loud if you prefer a quiet sleep it has a night mode!
