Powerful

Love it ! Very powerful and doesn't lose power in tall grass. You will need a couple of batteries but it cuts beautifully.

reply from Greenworks Tools

Thank you for your feedback, Stacey. We are pleased to hear that the Greenworks 40V mower provides the power needed to handle tall grass while delivering an excellent cut. Runtime can vary based on grass conditions and yard size, so an additional battery can be helpful for longer mowing sessions. This mower is compatible with Greenworks 40V batteries, including higher-capacity options for extended runtime. Great Purchase At $199.00

A workhorse of a machine. Easy to get into operation. Cuts very well. The machine will sometimes, rarely, turn off. Just turn it back on...I am not an engineer, so I can not even imagine why it unexpectedly turns off. But, it's an easy turn on. See the attached pictures. Great job on the yard.

Green works batter mower

I'm still getting used to a battery operated mower! I'm used to the gas/ oil/ plugs and filter kind. This sounds like and reminds me of a battery powered toy! lol It works as it should. Wish battery would stretch to an hour. It will be nice not having to deal with all that is involved in a gas powered. Especially as I age and that's what I looked at when I decided on this mower.. Much easier and less expensive to operate! ( it was cheaper at Bi-mart but, didn't feel like hassling with return.)
