Feeder had too much movement when using all poles

The bird feeder is attractive but using all the pole segments made it unstable. I removed 2 segments and it was much sturdier. While I watched, a squirrel tried to climb the pole but failed to reach the bird food. I was very happy until a raccoon easily climbed the pole and feasted on the cracked corn and bird seeds. If it had been possible to use all the pole parts and elevate the feeder another two feet, the raccoon might have been unsuccessful. I have two different feeders which I bring inside at night but this one is a little heavier and would be more trouble to bring in. I will have to limit the amount of food that I put in the tray each day. The bird feeder was a little smaller than I anticipated and only birds about the size of cardinals could easily fit into it.

Feeder Fabulous, support pole - worthless!

This birdfeeder is Wonderful, large, beautiful, well made...5 stars! But the pole to support it is worthless-flimsy, weak, um, try to support a great feeder on a 'wet noodle'. I'm well experienced with feeders, birdhouses etc.- this cheap, flimsy pole system needs to be upgraded! It gets rated a "1"!
