Yamaha BB734A Electric Bass Guitar Translucent Black

What always sets Yamaha apart from the rest is the love and care put into their instruments, along with affordability. The Yamaha BB734A bass guitar introduces modern appointments that give it the modern feel it has, which complements its vintage-style appointments. It also uses VSP7 and VSC7 Alnico V split single-coil pickups to give off its versatile sound as well. For bass players who enjoy a vintage look with a modern feel and enjoy playing a wide range of styles, this BB734A bass guitar is perfect for you.

Modern Appointments
Using a variety of wood, this Yamaha BB734A bass uses a 5-piece maple and mahogany bolt-on neck, with an alder and maple body as well. It uses a thinner neck profile than most bass guitars, which gives it much more playability and comfort. The woods used on this bass offer a great punch of character, allowing it to cut through any mix and pack a real strong punch with plenty of sustain.

Vintage-Style Appointments
With the use of vintage-style hardware, this BB734A offers a unique character. While it seems to cater to modern players, it still holds a very classy vibe. For the bridge, it uses a vintage plus steel-plated bridge with brass saddles for convertible stringing.

VSP7 and VSC7 Alnico V Split Single Coil Pickups
This BB734A features extremely versatile pickups, in a style where you have one pickup in the bridge and a split single coil in the neck. The active preamp has a 3-band EQ that will offer so much variety in tone than you already have with just the pickups alone. There is so much experimentation to be done when it comes to utilizing this unique bass.
