This pillow reminds me of something you sit on because it is very flat and thin. I do have neck problems and this pillow does cause any discomfort. It is very cool to the touch. It isn't as thick as it looks in the picture though.

I have SEVERE neck issues (bulging disks, spurs %26 compressed nerves) %26 bad lower spine issues (a broken back resulting in major surgery at L5 S1 ) %26 even though I have an expensive electric fancy bed that I keep raised while sleeping I still have the hardest time finding a pillow that doesn't hurt me %26 give me major kinks in my neck or horrible headaches!
