Product details

The COAST GX35 Flashlight combines rugged durability with versatile lighting. With Dual Power capability (USB-rechargeable or alkaline batteries), Twist Focus beam control, and IP67 waterproof protection, this flashlight is ideal for outdoor, industrial, or emergency use. Its Pure Beam Focusing Optic delivers seamless transitions between flood and spot beams for any situation.
  • Alkaline Dual Power - Options to stay ready. With COAST Dual Power technology, you have the choice to power your light with USB-rechargeable batteries or with standard alkaline batteries.

Excellent Emergency Flashlight

Most people take the power grid for granted and expect outages to last just a few hours at the most. They assume they can simply recharge their flashlight batteries before it runs down. Unchecked assumption. More and more power outages are lasting days and even weeks. It's in the news. The reason I bought the GX-35 is because I can use normal or rechargeable AA batteries to operate the flashlight. I have options. I keep a reasonable stack of AA batteries around. Therefore, I will still have an operational, high quality flashlight for many days after the “rechargeable only” battery folk are still in the dark. If you must have a rechargeable battery flashlight, then get one that that can be charged from your car; hopefully you keep your tank filled with gas. I actually read the packaging and knew what I was getting. I highly recommend this product.

Great product for the price!

This is a durable flashlight for the money. There are cheaper in price that are also cheaper in quality. You get a quality product at a good price point so you get what you pay for with this light. I would recommend and probably buy it again!!!
