It is very easy to use!! It you want strong coffee, then you have to just press one button before brewing the coffee and your coffee brews up very strong!! It also has a programmable carafe keep warm temperature.....it defaults to 30 minutes, but you can set it up to keep warm for up to four hours, and it counts down the time. The programmable carafe keep warm temperature is a very nice feature. It also has a cleaning cycle on it, which we haven't used yet. The permanent mesh filter is so great, because all we have to do is rinse it off and it's ready to go for the next pot. And this machine brews really great coffee, and brews it fairly quickly!! I would say that it brews a full pot in less than 5 minutes!! It has a pause and serve feature, so you can get a cup of coffee before it is finished brewing. I am very impressed with this unit.
