Poor design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I broke 2 of these on my Ranger 619. Both times had the motor stabilized with a Ram Mount ( only thing that prevented my Terrova from going in the water). Broke the same as others reviewing here. I wish it wasn't an inferior product because it is handy for servicing your trolling motor.

Do not buy this bracket

Bracket failed exactly as noted by others. Same exact location. Bought new in 2000, not that old. Plastic tab broke in 2 foot waves and if the unit wasn't hardwired to the boat I'd have lost the whole motor.
