Exactly as Advertised

It was a little shorter than I thought it would be, but just right for the table lift. Everything worked exactly as advertised. The most difficult part to assemble was the lifts. The lack of light between the top and the table made it difficult to see the holes. Other than that, it was a breeze. We did not install the lights because of the distance between the table and the wall socket. Instead, we added them around the top of our preexisting TV table. They look great. We love the extra storage space.

I would have given it 5 stars. But it has a glossy, black top, which doesn't show in the ad and isn't mentioned in the description. I wouldn't have bought it knowing that. I had to buy a large, wooden tray to cover it. The gloss is WAY too easy to smudge. It would be a fussy, high maintenance piece without a way to cover the glossy finish.
