Easy to apply, sticks well, good sandy surface.

I applied these tape strips to new PCC steps. I prepped the steps with water and a stiff brush, then rinsed and let them dry thoroughly, aided by a heat gun to get rid of the remaining dark spots on the concrete. The strips were easy to get to the right place. They didn't really stick until they were pressed into place. Then I burnished them with my feet, and they're stuck very well. They've been through several rainstorms and show no sign of peeling at the edges. They give a solid grip when using the stairs. They also look very nice.

works great. pretty sturdy, shouldn't tear. used mine on 2"x6" trailer loading boards for riding mower. boards treated with wood sealer, doesn't stick too good to that. had to use roofing nails in addition to the self sticking feature. but overall an easy and cheap solution for extra traction.
