Maybe it would be easier to assemble for someone else, but that was my experience. Once assembled and adjusted it is just what I wanted for my regular computer chair. This was one of the few light-colored chairs that I could find in my budget. And it really looks great. It's a great task chair and over the past week my wife and I have been sharing it and it's holding up great. I'm a bigger guy and my wife is is nowhere near my size and it's holding up pretty well. The instructions could have been a bit more clear. It's the classic Xeroxed pages type instruction sheet, but it was nice that the pieces were packed in a vacuum seal set.
