I can't really complained love the retina display it's beautiful to the eyes,love the processor it handles anything, battery is good, haven't used the camera yet, Negetives speakers are decent and wifi is ok I wish apple would put a better wifi antenna but at home it's perfect in public places it struggles a bit I love the Size it's light and thin in the hand, games look and perform beautiful, love watching movies on it, I will have this for a long time.

I'm VERY frugal, so for me to spend money on an Apple product, still seems surprising. I have a smaller Kindle Fire and love it, but last year I wanted a larger device that was more flexible (Kindle's proprietary software doesn't always play nice with other devices and apps). When I saw an iPad's display compared to others, I was hooked. I actually bought one almost a year ago, but in an extremely careless, stupid moment I recently dropped it, shattering the screen. I definitely wanted to replace it with the same device but was still concerned about the cost. There were so many positives to an iPad, the customer service, the ease of use etc. I didn't want to switch to something else. At that time Walmart had an incredible price on it, so buying a new one was almost the same price as replacing the screen. The next morning I bought it online and picked it up 3 hours later at the nearby store. I'll be honest, I don't shop at Walmart often (maybe 4 times a year) but the price and availability for this made it the only choice. The staff at the nearby store was wonderful when I picked it up, so now I do have a lot of good things to say about Walmart. You can find all kinds of reviews for this device, but here's why I bought it. The quality of the screen and pictures is wonderful. The size makes it easy to put in a purse and carry with me. We drove 6,000 miles recently and I used it to take gorgeous photos and then could save them to the iCloud. Thank God for that, as I hadn't done it yet with my latest photos (I dropped it the night we got home) and I thought the 300 pix of the National Parks were lost. But the shattered old one was still capable of working, so I VERY carefully uploaded. It's also quick and easy to send photos or to share to Facebook. The battery lasts a long time. When I've had problems I can contact Apple for help. Granted, sometimes there's been a wait, but they've been really good. Some of the initial "triage" people aren't very helpful, but I kept at it. One quirk with Apple I have to warn you about. I turn off my auto-upload, but on a recent update, those settings default to being back on. So during our trip, I went through almost 2 GB of data a day because I didn't realize it was uploading the hundred+ photos and the videos I was taking! If you don't want that function, make sure you turn it off. As I said, I'm REALLY cheap, but I barely thought twice about buying this device again.
