This stand arrived well boxed. I did notice one top end cap missing. No big deal because, you don't see it unless you are really tall! The box itself is heavy and represents the components weight inside. This item is best put together by 2 people. One, it's heavy. Two, you need someone to hold pieces while someone bolts them together. The directions are fairly straightforward and the hardware is organized. The pieces though are not marked you have to look at the pics to determine the name of the pieces. Also, I didn't notice in the directions, that to raise and lower the height of the stand, you need to remove the 2 bolts at the bottom of the poles. They must have been for packaging purposes. Not removing them, will not all you to move the stand height. The wheels have locks and roll easily on hardwood floors. Not sure it would be easy to roll on carpet. The stand is sturdy but, depending on the size of your TV, I I wouldn't think rolling it all over would be a good and safe idea. There is a shelf for a dvd or cable box. I have a long sound bar, that I do not have anywhere to fit it. The paint on the poles should last, but seem to scratch easily. All in all, it seems well worth the price. I have a 55”tv to use it with.
