It all started for me when my period started... but the only symptom was the smell. It wasn't the period smell though. I woke up this morning feeling a 70-80% pain relief %26 that horrible, putrid smell is GONE! Instant relief from the itch. It does have a little bit of a burn if your BV symptoms are severe, but it works. I did have to use a second round of it to clear my symptoms completely. The smell of the product is different, but to me it was a soothing smell. The smell of relief. So thankful to not have to go to a DR and get testing just to treat BV.
