Firstly, The Seauto Seal SE is great value and we are very happy with the purchase. We've owned and used the unit for several months now, so this is not an unboxing review. The review reflects our honest assessment based on real use experience over time. Hope it helps you narrow your search. We have a 16'x30'x6' in-ground pool. The unit has three cleaning modes: “all clean” (floor and walls), “wall only” and “floor only”. For the size of our pool we found it best to run “floor only” mode, recharge the unit, then run “wall only” mode to get spectacular results. When we ran “all clean” mode settled debris would foul the filter reducing flow where it stopped climbing walls before pool completely clean. Clean floors first and walls second and you won't believe how clean your pool looks and feels. No more grit on the floor, no more slime on the walls, and no more black water line! There are no cords to get tangled up in. Runs up to three hours on a charge. Parks itself adjacent to a wall for easy retrieval with included plastic hook. Quick water release. Easy to clean filter basket. Easy to handle and store. The Seal SE maps the pool on its own. The rubber tracks allow the robot to make precise turns and straight line runs. Its powerful discharge flow directed up through the top of the unit keeps it adhered to the walls while climbing and cleaning above the water line. The top flow discharge also provides powerful suction that captures the fine dirt, yet does not disturb settled dirt and leaves on the pool's floor outside its' cleaning path. The unit is solidly constructed. Our dog's reaction to the robot saying, “enjoy your pool” always brings a smile to my face. The capabilities of the Seauto Seal SE match those of corded units that cost three times its' price!
