Authentic Royal Naturally Aged Indian White Basmati Rice, Long-Grain, Gluten-Free - 2 lbs

I can no longer get my favorite brand of basmati rice, which I have been using for many years, so I did some online research, looking for a replacement. Royal Basmati was consistently listed as one of the best, so I bought a 2 lb bag to try. I opened it this week, cooked some herbed rice, and it was lovely. The directions recommend that you soak the rice first, to lengthen the grains and to cut down on starch, which I did. I followed the stovetop cooking directions exactly, and it was perfect. It was light, fluffy, not at all sticky, and wonderfully fragrant. I think I’ve found my replacement.

It's a good affordable rice and works great in my pressure cooker. I make it this way thanks to my Papas wife. 2 cups of rice 2 1/4 cups of water 2 tbl spoon of oil 3 tsp of salt Drain the water from the can of gandules Put gandules in rice Drain olives and put them in rice One orange envelope of sazon goya. Mix all with spoon Turn on rice cooker or cook your rice on stove like normal With some grilled chicken marinated in McCormick's Garlic, Herb and Wine Yummy! 😋
