Great fit and colors

I'm thought about these shoes for about 2 months. I wanted to replace a pair of Merrill's that I had had for years that I loved. I always order about a half a size bigger for my hikers so I can wear thicker socks. I wear a 6 but ordered a 6.5. That's my personal preference. They were comfy from the get go.

I just broke in my new pair of Moabs at work and they feel almost as good as my last pair - just a little stiff when I bend. It's nice to know that I can grab and go without having to worry about fit or comfort. Plus, the colour is fantastic - I wore them as part of my 80s costume for Halloween and they were perfect!

I do a lot of weekly mileage in my low rise (not water proof) Moabs. I never worry about having a break them in. Hills, rock scrambles, rocky ridge walks, water crossings.They are sticky and grippy on steep faces. Comfortable and not hot over bigger mileages. Also I use a second pair instead of sneakers. Worked out! I don't know how long a pair of hiking shoes should last but I find I am replacing them after 9 months.
