Good quality poor storage design

Someone spent all the time designing a very nice unit only to drop the ball at the last when it comes with retreaving it and storeing it. To retrieve it you have to reach over it and under it to get the ladder up. Then you need to wrap a cheesy piece of Velcro around the bottom rung of the ladder and threw a eyelet. Very poor design and hard to do . Almost impossible if the water is ruff .. It's the same if you try and put it down from in the boat.. Real pain in the butt... Gonna design my own storage and retrieval. Other than that it's a well made unit but opening and closing are biggies for me so no I wouldn't buy it or recommend it..
