Prefer the Attwood vs the Perko replacement

I replaced stern light socket on my 2001 210SD Searay... Originally equipped with Perko's version of the socket; i prefer the Attwood version, as it the light pole locks in with a screw collar vs the Perko that just slides in and no way of locking and therefore it has a tendency to rattle when moving.

It didn't fit my boat

It probably is a good unit. It turns out to not fit my boat. It looks about the same in the photo but the screw holes don't match up. I went to the sporting goods dept at another Walmart and found the exact replacement.
