Assembly will be greatly eased with some hand tools, sandpaper and glue at some steps for strength. The instruction manual was very detailed. Most of the time, the wooden parts had to be sanded to allow fitting without breaking parts. I skipped the rubber bands option to power motion. The rubber bands would detract from the look of the model and they will dry out in an air conditioned environment, nullifying the time spent on them. The end result was pleasing and I have attached a photo of the painted model.
