Delighted with my opal engagement ring! The stone's color play is magical, and it's complemented by a well-designed, sturdy band. The ring is a perfect blend of elegance and quality, making it a special and meaningful piece in our journey together.

The moissanite stone falling out within weeks of purchase indicates a serious flaw in the ring's construction.

Stone is very, very yellow

When I received the ring, the stone was so yellow and low in opalescence that I thought it might be plastic. However, I looked up Welo (Ethiopian) opals, and found that they often look very much like that. So, the ring is likely as described. Unfortunately, the photo displayed by the seller makes it look more like an Australian opal (white with plenty of "fire"). I have attached photos of what the ring really looks like. Against the bright, clear diamonds, the opal looks dirty. This yellow-ish color of opal would look much better on a yellow gold ring next to gems with some color. Instead, it looks totally disconnected from the band. I have no idea what I'll be doing with this ring, but I won't be wearing it.

Fairly poor Opal

Sad to say, this ring just does not hit the mark in qny way. The opal has no fire and lacks the color of a decent opal. The description claims its 18k gold over silver but the silver but it feels more like inexpensive metal. If you must have an opal look for something of beyyer quality or even something of the same price range ($99) that at least appears closer to a real gemstone.
