I know this isn't the top of the line player, it's a simple all in one record player. I noticed they updated the model and it says improved sound quality and I wanted a player that I could use for less critical situations where I want to play a record but don't want to use my large stereo setup. They did improve the sound quality (I had tried a previous version of this that I thought sounded pretty poor tbh) and they even used an audio-technica stylus so I know that will be better and easier to find replacements for down the road. Overall it was a slight gamble that I wanted to take and in the end it turned out to be a good thing.

Victrola's Eastwood record player is the least expensive turntable they sell with a solid, professional-sounding output. Less expensive models lack bass and sound tinny. For special features on vinyl, I need a turntable that doesn't automatically lift the needle before the label (some albums have tracks hidden under the label), has three speeds, and a method to plug in a recording device to get a digital output. This is the one. I know Victrola's price for this model. Walmart was practically giving them away at half off. How can they afford that? I'm very happy with this purchase.
