The performance seat and handlebars can be effortlessly adjusted to the perfect fit, letting youngsters get a feel for the weight and stability of the bike. Then, simply attach the Easy-Ride Pedal Kit (sold separately) and your little ripper can alternate between striding and breaking in the pedals - no need for prehistoric training wheels! In all, this convertible bike provides kids with a natural progression and encourages them to hit their stride and reach one of the most important milestones out there.
- Starts as a balance bike and converts to a pedal bike when your kiddo is ready to spread their wings with Strider's Easy Ride Pedal Kit (sold separately).

I would highly recommend the 12” strider before the 14”, my granddaughter rode the 12”for a couple years and learned really good balance with no pedals. When she got on the 14” with pedals her first try she was a pro and is still riding the bike with pedals no problem. Totally bypassed training wheels .Great purchase, the pedal kit is a separate purchase
