If your battery tests defective within the Free Replacement Period, we will exchange your battery for a comparable new one at no charge at any Walmart store nationwide that sells auto batteries. The replacement battery provided during the Free Replacement Period carries the remainder of the original warranty period dating from your initial date of purchase or 90 days, whichever is longer. Fee explaination

there was a $15 fee, i thought was a core charge, but when i turned my old battery in, they said there was no core charge but did not know what the extra $15 fee was for and took my old battery. could you let me know what the $15 fee was for? Thank you.

If you bought your battery in a Walmart store, you could get the core fee refunded right away when you bring the old battery (the core) with you. If you didn’t have the core at the time, you can bring it back later with your receipt to get your refund. For batteries bought online, whether by delivery or curbside—the core fee will be refunded as a gift card after you return the old battery to the store. The store team can start the return using the returns tab, choose the non-receipted returns option, and then scan or enter this UPC: 19434621915. If the store has an issue please show them one of these reviews. We recommend returning cores from online orders at stores with an Auto Care Center, since they’re more familiar with the core return process and can help make it smoother. SM-Clarios
