LEGO City Main Square 60271 Cool Building Toy for Kids (1,517 Pieces)

Not a bad price for such a large lego

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was host to my 3 children and 6 grandchildren this past Christmas and was wanting to come up with a fun family game or project to keep us busy. All of my grandchildren (3 girls, 3 boys, ages 4,5,7,8, and 2 age 9) enjoy playing with Legos so when I saw this great Lego City Main Square Set with 1,517 pieces, it instantly got my attention! I loved the idea ,as suggested on the front of the box of this being a "family build together" set. This seemed perfect for what I was looking for and I was not disappointed! We divided up the projects so each family had a a part of the Main Street they were responsible for building. There are so many choices: City Diner, City Hall, Concert Stage, Subway and Station, Outdoor Recreation Area, Limousine, Motor Bike, Handyman Wagon, Police Vehicle and Rescue Helicopter . There are 14 Lego Figures including 6 figures from the Lego City Adventures TV series. I can't describe the level of excitement we had going in my home! Everyone had a wonderful time and by the end of the day our Main Square was complete! What a wonderful idea this would be for any family gathering to get all involved in the fun, and yes, this grandma loves Legos too!
