My sons just started playing guitars, so this is the first winter with guitars in a very dry, wood-heated house. A couple weeks into winter, we noticed a hairline crack in the guitar. I ordered these humidifiers right away. While I can't speak to the long-term efficacy of this product yet, as it takes a few weeks to rehumidify the wood, we will keep using and buy for any other instruments that come into the house to prevent the dryness. These humidifiers are simple to use with no dripping, and bery convenient.

These are great!

These humidifiers are great. Much better than the traditional sponge type, as these special sponges are much higher quality. The case is high quality also and I like how the top shuts with a hinge easily and connects into place. I also like how it clicks in once you place it between the guitar strings. I would highly recommend!
