Ratchet belts are the most comfortable belts for men, especially if your waist size varies a lot (like mine). The ratchets are about 1/4in apart, so you just tighten the belt until it feels comfortable, and off you go! This is the third and forth belt I have purchased. The first and second lasted about eight years apiece, so they are an excellent value for a good leather belt.
