I just received and installed these so I can't rate/review battery life. Install and operation is very easy. Simply stick the bell where you want it, and then plug in the receiver. I like the ring-tone so didn't attempt to change it. It would be nice to have an extra sticky pad in the package in case placement isn't ideal.
