I like this Router!

I have had trouble with spectrum streaming. This router has corrected some of the issues so I am happy so far.

Excellent value

Saw this recommended as best budget router by PC Magazine, so decided to give it a shot. Working just fine. Easy to get up and running and log in using the default password.

Glad I bought this one.

I have been using this TP-Link Archer C7 router for a week now and so far am quite pleased. The only snag with installation was my not knowing I needed to get Comcast to recognize a change of router. Tip: not only modem, but router change needs to be flagged to Comcast apparently. I'm pleased with the availability of a local (Ethernet-connected), browser-based config interface; no requirement to install yet another app, although app-based interface is available for remote config (haven't tried it). The configurations options are rich throughout. For example, I really like the ability to select among three WiFi signal levels (and manually select channels if desired). But many more settable options besides. No problem at all with speeds, just what I would expect given my Comcast service. No noticeable drop-outs or restarts; solid uptime, admittedly over a week. All in all, I'm glad I landed on this one. If anything changes, I will update this.
