This jump starter has been a godsend since I have gotten it. I've been able to help. I don't know how many people since all this cold weather we've had and people have needed help getting their vehicle started and so am I with all the cold weather we've had and it has just you know it's been just wonderful and helping out with that and not having to get your car close and try to get jumper cables out and move around in the snow and everything. It has just been great. I can't say enough especially I'm 63 and I have disabilities and it is just been wonderful to have something like this and not have to have you know worry about having to find someone to help you. You can have something at the ready and do it yourself and not worry and it is just been wonderful I recommend you know anybody that has issues of any kind you know it male or female it's it's just a wonderful thing that you don't have to worry you've got something. It's just like having an extra back up person with you and you know you've always got something there that is going to help you get home or get out whatever you need. It's there it's awesome.

I bought the AVAPOW 4000A jump starter mostly to use around the farm. I always have a vehicle with a dead battery. First impression: it’s smaller than I expected for something that claims 4000A. It comes in a case with the clamp cable and charging cable, so it’s easy to just toss in the trunk and forget about. What I like: It’s straightforward to use. The “smart clamp” takes some of the stress out of it. The case keeps everything together (this matters more than I thought). The flashlight is actually handy — not super bright like a headlamp, but good enough for under-the-hood stuff at night. It doubles as a power bank, so it’s not a one-trick gadget. What I don’t like / would change: The cables are a little stiff/short-ish depending on your battery layout. Not a deal breaker, but you may have to position the pack carefully. The “4000A” number feels like one of those peak rating things… it worked for me, but I wouldn’t buy this thinking it’s magically going to revive every dead diesel in freezing weather. Tip: charge it when you get it and then top it off every couple months. I can totally see someone leaving it in the trunk for a year and then being mad when it’s low. Overall: I’m keeping it in my car permanently. For normal cars/trucks/SUVs, this is a solid “get out of jail” tool and way cheaper than being stuck waiting for a jump. Rating: 4/5 (would be 5/5 if the cables were a bit longer and the docs were clearer)
