It's exactly what we were looking for. I love the style. The extra storage available with the cabinet appealed to me. My husband's favorite feature is the power outlet. This makes it convenient for having power chords for our phones, and we plug our table lamp in as well. Assembly is intense, meaning there's a lot of parts and pieces, but not at all difficult. For us, it was an excellent value. We only needed one table for now, but if we get new furniture and have the need for a second table, we will get another one Full disclosure, we also bought a coffee table at the same time from the same line, which has turned out to be a disappointment since, after on and a half weeks, it is already chipping on the top. I've not had the same problem with this side table.
