Worth the effort

I've used these a few times to marinate meat, fish or chicken. I have the vacuum sealer that has the attachment for these containers. I find the process easy and useful for an inexperienced home cook.

Love this system. I have saved so much money by eliminating wasted food which stays fresh longer.

Great set for small and large batch marinades.

I have had my food saver for a while and was always curious about the marinate setting. I order this set and I am very happy with my purchase. I used the 10 cup container to marinate sliced chicken for jerky and the 3 cup container for marinating 2 boneless pork chops. Both were full of flavor as if I had let them sit in the marinade overnight. While the containers are plastic, rather than glass, they are sturdy. We will see if they hold up without scratching, staining or losing shape over time. My only regret is I waited so long to purchase and try this.
