this mattress protector was recommended to me by a friend, so I ordered it and it looks like really good quality, it also has a good feel. it's only been on my bed for two nights. some other mattress protectors are noisy and don't have quality elastic, this one doesn't make a sound and the elastic appears strong, my new mattress is 13 and 1/4 in and this mattress protector fits it very well.

While no mattress cover is 100% waterPROOF unless it is plastic, this one comes extremely close to meeting that claim and it is definitely water resistant. Has a nice soft side that faces up and the "water proof/water resistant" fabric is on the under side that faces the mattress It breathes and does not make noise But this is not a zippered mattress cover, so if you are worried about dust or bugs, then this is not the style for you; you need a zippered mattress cover.
