I bought this set for my teen daughter who is autistic and 16 years old .She loves Lego's and Mario so this was perfect for her. She loves a good challenge and this set was easy enough for her to complete now she has completed many adult sets so when I say easy don't expect young children to be able to do this unassisted . I think she enjoyed the build but simply cant express it in words but her smile sure did. Worth every penny I spent just to see her succeed and be proud of herself.
