The shaver works better than my norelc shaver which cost me three times as much. I couldn't be more surprised at how good it is and I think the secret is the cutting blades have more cutting surfaces. The only downside is the handle is slippery even when it is dry but very slippery when wet so I put a small piece of non slip tape on the handle and it is perfect. That's only downside. I will be buying another for travel and a backup
