There are three speeds and max speed is 4 MPH.

Where should the wheelchair be plugged in for charging?

There is a charging port under the joystick and on the battery. You can charge your wheelchair from either of them.

Storage life of a charged battery?

The typical estimated life of a Lithium-Ion battery is about one to two years or 300 to 500 charge cycles, whichever occurs first.

Does it come with both a remote control and a joystick?

Yes, it comes with both a remote control and a joystick.

What material is the frame made of?

The wheelchair is manufactured from aircraft-grade aluminum alloy. That makes the frame lightweight.

Is the Mammoth compliant with TSA and FAA regulations?

The main reason a device may or may not be compatible with TSA and FAA regulations is the battery size. The Mammoth with a regular battery is compliant.

Do you have a DC charger for cars?

The wheelchair comes with a home charger. current (110/240 Volt). It does not come with the DC car charger.

What is the range of the remote, such as outdoors?

The range of the remote is 10 yards.

Do you need to take out the battery to fold the wheelchair?

No, you don't need to take the battery out.

Can you put a bigger lithium battery in for more mileage? Or add another battery?

This wheelchair comes with a regular 12Ah battery, and it doesn't support the addition of a second battery simultaneously.

Is the joystick controller removable to prevent damage when transporting on airline/cruise lines?

It is recommended that you take the joystick out when you fold and put it in a safe place.

Is the footrest retractable?

The footrest can be folded under the seat, and you won't need to remove it at all.

When in manual mode, how much resistance is there when it's pushed?

You should not feel much resistance. If you feel there is a lot of resistance, the wheelchair may not be in free-wheel mode, or the weight on the wheelchair may be more than recommended.

I turned the scooter on, but it won’t budge or go / or the joystick makes a beeping sound. What should I do?

There is a red latch on each rear tire. If you hear a beeping sound, you need to pull those latches up. After turning the wheelchair off and back on again, the sound should be gone. If it still doesn’t work, you can always contact us.

How do we install or remove the battery?

The battery is located under the wheelchair frame, positioned upwards. Once the safety clip is released, the battery can easily slide out and be changed.
