Great for curly hair!

First, it sleek design is very nice. I appreciated that it came with a glove and carry case/stowaway bag. Perfect for travel. I liked that it beeped when turned on and beeps when it's completed heating up. It does heat up quickly. I used this on very thick and course curly hair. It straightened beautifully. It didn't snag on the curls and because it's a wide flat iron I didn't have two make more that two passes over the hair (max). I did blow dry the hair staright before taking the straightener to it and the combo of the two made this process very easy. The hair was left shiny and I didn't have to use is at it's highest setting.
