Maxi-Cosi Zelia² Luxe 5-in-1 Modular Travel System, New Hope Black

As a first time parent this travel system has all the bells and whistles. It has a few extra attachments than some of the others we looked at. The only inconvenience is having to attach the car seat to the stroller with extra attachment arms instead of it attaching without the "arms". You don't need the "arms" if you don't use the car seat on the stroller. The 5 modes of use make it very versatile and convenient.

I think what stands out to me the most is just how true to the product the "luxe" in the product name is. The fabric feels luxurious, the structure feels luxurious, even the straps feel well-made and luxurious and the faux leather accents are a nice touch that, while small, go a long way. It feels like a really high-end product. I personally love that the stroller has both a carriage and seat setting. I feel like that makes it very versatile, particularly as a child ages or to meet the needs of different occasions. For example, with a newborn, I may not always want to use the car seat in the stroller if I'm just going on a walk from my house so the carriage is the perfect stand-in for that. The stroller when used with the seat seems to be very comfy and cozy and I like that the shade provides enough coverage to feel truly protective. The compartment underneath is huge - easily enough room for my diaper bag. The car seat seems on par with other car seats I own from other brands although the fabric does give it a slight leg up. I did knock this down a star because I don't find that it folds quite as easily as some other strollers I've used. I also had some trouble with assembly and converting between functions (carriage to seat to car seat). While the click-into-place assembly was really nice overall, it seemed like some of the connections were a little tough to maneuver/move, which made it harder to set up. I thought the directions could benefit from a little more detail.
