We bought this set as a Christmas gift to ourselves, primarily to make chopped ice type beverages and are pleased with the Ninja BL660. The larger container with its fearsome blades and powerful base easily chops ice into puree in short order. The base unit has suction cups on it, so it will stay in place on the countertop and not wander around as it operates. The smaller chopper with its matching containers is more like a traditional blender and requires a little more technique to get all the ice to be chopped into puree. We got it delivered free and paid under $90 for it online. Overall, for the price, this unit is awesome, even if it lists for over $100 now. Would certainly recommend it to anyone, anytime!

I love this blender! With 1100 watt motor, it makes smoothies easy and fast. It also comes with a smaller blade attachment to do a single smoothie. I don't do this often, but I would highly recommend this blender way and above an overpriced Vitamix any day. Great value for the money! Here's one thing no one tells you about getting this kind of blender, you need extra large straws or "milkshake" straws, because smoothies are thick. But still get this blender!
