  • Natural Material: Crafted from 100% jute, this area rug is part of the Natural Fiber Collection, featuring sustainable fibers like sisal and sea grass.
  • Generous Dimensions: The rug measures 5' x 8' with a pile height of 0.4 inches, offering a substantial yet low-profile addition to any room.
  • Care Recommendations: Regular vacuuming without beater bars and spot cleaning are recommended; professional cleaning for tough stains and rotating the rug every 3-6 months helps prevent uneven wear.
  • Backing & Pad: This rug has no backing, and a rug pad (sold separately) is recommended to prevent shifting and sliding, especially for carpet-to-carpet use.
  • Color & Origin: Presented in an Ivory/Natural color scheme, this rug is hand-loomed in India, contributing to its unique character and style.
  • Placement Advice: Avoid direct sunlight to prevent color fading and use rug protectors under heavy furniture to maintain pile integrity.
  • Crease Management: Temporary creases from packing are normal and will recede; back-rolling or reverse rolling can expedite the flattening process.

Directions

Fabric Care Instructions

Routine vacuuming with a high quality vacuum cleaner is the most important thing you can do to maintain the beauty of your rug. Vacuum thoroughly and frequently with a canister vacuum (preferably one without beater bars). This prevents permanent damage by keeping soil particles from working their way deep into your rug. Rugs placed in high traffic areas of your home or office should be vacuumed more frequently. Never vacuum the fringes of your rug, especially a hand-knotted rug.

Lovely Natural Fiber Jute Rug

Item is as described. Loved the color and natural texture. Soft enough for me. Especially like the benefits of natural fiber. Smells good. A good thickness, not too thin. Color scheme blended well with my existing colors. My Tip: Run your hands over the item to find and remove any jute fibers that are left over from the manufacturing process that may be slightly harsher at initial setup to avoid a surprise later.
