Generator Running Cover - Inverter Kit (Standard, Tan) - for Fully Encased Inverter Generators

This is a very adaptable kit so it will fit a wide variety of units of various measurements and design. Mine is basically a plastic rectangular cube. The only concerns I had were where the strap would run around its girth for possible interference with muffler and with controls and with the slide out 'luggage on wheels' carry handle. None were a problem I cinched the strap with enough clearance above the exhaust so it would not be melted and that also was just below all of the controls on the opposite side except for the lowermost bank. The handle is readily accessible to deploy by flipping up the added flap. The plastic struts and center cap, which receive the fiberglass rods, are sturdy and the rubber corner blocks are well designed and grippy to hold their place. The ratchet and webbed strap hold it all firmly without needing excessive tension. The ONLY improvement I suggested to the company were the tackwelding of the venting panel at the top. I suspect that people would accidently rip it off by gripping it to pull the tent upward if for any reason they were installing/removing/adjusting the full tent. I think it would be best to just use the velcro, as tabs, just like they've used for the flap to access to top of the inverter for refueling. With my unit and my positioning of the tent, I have more than enough space over the unit to tip the refueling can. This is a well constructed and well designed product.
