Great battery powered fan! I bought this for my hurricane preparedness supplies. We were without power after Hurricane Irma, only to find that our old battery powered fan didn't work, ugh! Meets needs well.

Placed on 120v in non-vented apartment bathroom to eliminate odors from human waste and litter box, and to eliminate moisture against mildew; and to use with battery power in case of power failure during summer heat. It is expensive to do it right. I spent an additional $57 for six D cell slow self-discharge rechargeable batteries. But for me, long term, it is well worth the cost. I can see good use from it outdoors especially for those with health problems and for those who go tenting in summer humidity.

Quiet breeze

This fan totally met my needs. Looks sleek, doesn't take up a lot of space, useful for emergency or outdoor use with batteries and best of all, quiet. The price is a bonus since you could pay the same or more for a fan without the battery option. The only thing I would change is to lower battery needs to two 9volt rather than the 6 or 8 d option offered for sale or better yet set to recharge with a battery pack. The power was no different on high or low with battery power or house current. I use recharge batteries so it worked for me, but could be costly to use disposable batteries. So stock up on recharge batteries and you will be ready for anything.
