Decent Hat Arrived Ruined

The seller cut corners in the shipping of this item. It's a delicate chiffon hat with wires and boning in the band and brim to give it its shape and silhouette. It arrived rolled into a ball in a plastic, unpadded shipping sleeve that was roughly the same size as an index card (about 6 x 10 cm). This hat had some great features, and was seemed as though it was meant to be foldable. However, there is a big difference between folding and smashing it into a tiny wad, the latter of which what was done to the hat. I tried to unbend the wires and reshape the hat with steam, but it will always look like trash now. It would maybe do for wearing in the garden, not sure how much UV protection it would afford, but wearing it in public in its condition is a big no. It simply looks crazy, and that's not the look I'm going for.
