I bought this for my 11 year old dog so she wouldn't have to struggle getting off the floor. The legs are a sturdy metal, the mesh material looks like it will be durable. The size is true to what was advertised. It took my spouse about 2 minutes to assemble. I'll put a blanket or something on it so the mesh doesn't wear off the hair on her elbows. I'd say the only problem is that the other two dogs think the bed is for them. I don't like to order things online because things often don't bear any resemblance to the description; this was one of the exceptions.

Minimal pieces to deal with, but aggravatingly difficult to get the last piece to interlock. Maybe there's a better way to go about doing so. It just wasn't in the instructions. I chose the medium size for my mini schnauzer, which is ample when she can have it to herself. Obviously, my three Asian shorthair cats need one of their own.
