I use this to collect kitchen scraps suitable for composting in the garden. It has an excellent carbon filter in the lid so I don't have to worry about bugs. I just took it out of the box put the lid on it and started using it. This one it’s just the right size for my kitchen. It looks good and it’ll take several days to fill it up. Just started using it, but it says it’s odor free for six months. I’ll let you know later. So far I’ve enjoyed it and it looks good.

I needed something to collect compostable kitchen scraps. This bin is perfect. It is not too small or too big. The lid has an air filter built in and vents along the top. This allows the bin to breath while also preventing it from releasing any odors. The sides of the bin where the handle is attached also work to hang the lid on. This makes it easy to keep open while I am preparing a meal without taking up additional counter space.
