Hoover Dual Spin Pet Plus Carpet Cleaner Machine, for Carpet, Rugs, and Upholstery, Pet Tool Attachment, Trial Size Formula Included, FH54050V

I purchased the Hoover Dual Spin Pet Plus Carpet Cleaner for under $100 after realizing that replacing missing pieces for my older Kirby shampoo system would cost nearly as much as buying a new machine. Our home was built in 2019, and the carpets had never been machine washed until now in 2026. Between normal family use, a dog, cats, makeup stains, pet accidents, and even an old dried paint spill, I was honestly at the point of deciding whether to try to save the carpet or rip it up. I am very glad I tried this machine first. After several slow passes, I saw a dramatic difference in the overall color and cleanliness of the carpet. It noticeably improved old pet stains, makeup residue, built-up dirt, and even a large dried paint spill that had been sitting in the carpet for over a year. The suction also does a great job pulling moisture back out, so the carpet dried much faster than I expected. It was easy to assemble once I realized the handle needed to be fully seated for the trigger to release the cleaning solution. I also like that it comes with attachments for stairs, upholstery, and car interiors, so I can use it for much more than just the floors. There may be more powerful professional-level machines out there, but for the price, performance, and versatility, this has been an excellent purchase for my household. I would absolutely recommend it to someone who is trying to refresh and restore existing carpet on a budget before considering replacement.
